Music Moment of the Yearとか（鉄板のブラーとオアシスネタ）。個人的には全面的に同意見だけど;P
さて、ここでAward for Innovationを受賞したデーモン・アルバーンの受賞コメントをどうぞ。
"NME terrified me when I was younger. They were the second people, after Sounds, to write about Blur. It meant so much to me when that happened. Most of you in this room don't know that there was a world before the internet. There was NME and there was Top Of The Pops. That was it. If I'm honest I still really care what NME thinks of me."

このコメント、ちょっと複雑だなあと思って見てました。Oasis vs Blurを書き立てたのは他でもないNMEでしたからね。（とはいえ私は当時のことは実体験としては知らないんだけども。）デーモン、そしてブラーはブリットポップっていう縛りにかなり苦しんだわけだし、これはなかなかリアルなコメントだなと。もちろんもう昔の話でキャリア的にも振り切れてるだろうけど。
